Caroline Briere

Caroline Briere has been making beaded jewelry for over 15 years, and is mostly self-taught.

She was born in Senegal, West Africa, lived in Cameroon for a time as a child, and travelled a great deal as an adult.

These experiences have influenced her work immensely. She often uses beads from various continents in the same piece, bringing several different cultures together, and creating what she calls a "bohemian world jewelry".

Color and playfulness are also important in Caroline's work. She likes to employ symbols and symbolism (sometimes using beads such as the hamsa hand, a Buddha, a skull or an evil eye).

Each of Caroline's pieces is one of a kind. She aims to make her jewelry classy, elegant and fun while perhaps being a conversation piece for the wearer.
